AU: Sho enters a psychiatric institution and gets a Matsumoto Jun for his roommate. Instead of helping Sho through therapy and getting better though, Jun pulls a Lecter on Sho and things go worse.

even though ohno is my bias (the moves! the voice! the gap! the derpiness! alsdkjfad), i’ve been thinking that if there were any arashi member i’d want to meet face to face/become biffles with, it’d be matsujun.
he just seems so freaking nice. like if he were your friend, he’d be there for you…

It comes down to the fact I TRUST THIS FACE. It may be naive of me, and hey, maybe privately he’s actually the Japanese Chuck Bass, but I’ve yet to see anything pointing to this. And really, cynicism for the sake of cynicism breaks hearts.
I don’t hugely value niceness, because it doesn’t necessarily translate to kindness (to be clear, I DO think he is a kind person, but I always saw niceness as something describing how you act towards others, and kindness being one of the possible reasons why you act that way), and I never particularly valued… hard-working-ness? (is there a non-awkward noun to use here?), but one thing I value hugely, in fact, the thing I value the most in people is sincerity and honesty, and no matter how jaded I can get, I can very easily believe he is as sincere and honest as he comes across. (I don’t like to wax poetic, but I really think it’s a quality that can affect other people, and the world, and change it for the better. Um, no longer talking about Jun here, even, but - yep.)
So, um. /o\ yeah, from one non-Jun fan to another, I get that feel.

Matsujun = Peculiar. Somehow he has personal preferences for various things. There were times he wanted to eat cereals in the morning. So, there is this kind of “Matsumoto Box”. From his bag he would take out a box of cereals. Not this size, but it was this big. So somehow, he has preferences for various things in particular, and I don’t know the deep reason. So I think he’s a peculiar guy.
